I moved to Parksville on Vancouver Island in 2001 & started casting and sculpting in cement & Sandstone
I found Marble and tried sculpting it.
I loved it, I've been hook on Stone ever since then
Going out and looking for my own stone is the start of every sculpture. Most of the time I can see the sculpture in the stone before I pick it up.
Of cource you have to sell what you make if you plan on making a living. When you love what you do it becomes very easy
I'm not saying its a easy life... you get stuck some times... but in the end it all works out!
